What! December 2018?!?! I love the colder snowy weather and all the cozy things that go with it. Cuddling with my sweetheart by the fire, hot chocolate in my favorite mug, big warm sweaters, etc. And the music! I'm the one humming Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas in the grocery store :)
Just finished a jazz show, singing with the Denver based "Park Hill Brass Nonet" band at the Denver Country Club. It was a blast! Singing in front of a big band filled with amazing musician and downright fun folks. I'm one lucky singer to have many outlets to share songs with!
A few big events left in the year (student recitals, Christmas Cantata at First Christian Church in Loveland, Christmas eve services with lovely music) AND a sweet gig at La Cour Art Bar on south Broadway in Denver. Its a lovely intimate venue with limited seating, so if we have the honor of your company that evening, please reserve a table at www.denversartbar.com. I'll be singing from 7pm to 10pm and you are welcome to drop by anytime. Joining me will be the amazing bassist, Peter Huffaker and the wonderfully talented Jeff Jenkins on piano. We will of course have a few holiday themed songs mixed in with our jazz standards. Hope to see your there!
Wishing you a peaceful Winter Solstice. ~ Terri Jo
